Service to Community
Charity at the Heart of Everything We Do
For over 25 years, Peace Lodge has organised its annual charity walk through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, raising thousands of pounds for local charities. Our brethren give generously of their time, resources, and skills to support those in need across Teesside and beyond.
From supporting distressed brethren and their families through our Benevolent Fund, to contributing to the Masonic Charitable Foundation which donates over £52 million annually, service is in a Freemason's DNA.

A Rich History of Brotherhood
From the medieval stonemasons who built England's great cathedrals, to the formation of the first Grand Lodge in 1717, Freemasonry has been one of the world's oldest and most respected fraternal organisations.
Peace Lodge was founded in 1919, at the close of the Great War, as a symbol of hope and fraternity in Middlesbrough. For over a century, we have upheld the traditions of the Craft while serving our local community.
